Mexico · 2021–2022 | What does financial health actually look like for a low-income family in Mexico — and how do you measure it in a way that drives real institutional change? That was the design problem behind FinnSalud. Supported by MetLife Foundation and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, I set the product strategy and led development of two interconnected products: CIMA, a self-service financial health measurement tool for financial institutions, enterprises, government agencies and NGOs, and an AI application that analyzed spending, savings and reported sentiment to generate personalized recommendations for both users and the institutions serving them. The long-term goal: understanding and improving financial health for vulnerable populations across Latin America and Africa.
